Minutes of the Edwards River

Antique Engine Association

for August 11^th 2005

The Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by president Gene Brooks

The minutes were read by John Wyant

The treasurer’s report was read by Gene Brooks.

Gene reported a balance of 2889.52.

Don Wadams made a motion to accept these reports.

The motion was seconded by Nathan Brooks and approved.

We discussed the Farm & Fleet show.

We discussed advertising. Bruce Curry Gave his input on advertising.

We discussed signs.

We passed out Brochures and flyers.

We picked people in charge of different activities:

 Dave Flack supplying corn binder. Donny Wadams getting.

 Nathan Brooks in charge of bailer.

 Gallager is bringing saw mill. (Joe Jensen will talk with him)

 Bruce Curry is taking care of parking and supplying parking attendants.

 Richard Curtis will provide Sunday service. John Wyant will talk with him.

 Illinois corn pickers are coming Bruce in charge of them.

 John & Gene bringing tents for toy display.

 John taking care of P.A. System

 Bill Schutte is in charge of plowing.

 Chuck Stone in charge of security.

 Todd Beck in charge of tractor parking.

 Dick is bringing a loader tractor.

 Gene Brooks in charge of flea markets.

 Nathan Brooks in charge of tractor rodeo.

 Dick McMeekan in charge of corn binding.

We Discussed needing rules for show-goers.

Next meeting will be on Thursday Sept 8^th.

The Show buttons will be $2.00 and include hay rack ride.

John Wyant made a motion to give Gene Brooks Authority to spend

up to $1,000.00 on advertising.

Dick McMeekan Seconded. There was discussion and then a unanimous vote.

Motion was carried.

Don Wadams made a motion to adjourn. Everyone seconded
