Minutes of the Edwards River

 Antique Engine Association

for Feb. 9th 2006

The Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. by president Gene Brooks

            The minutes were read by Nathan Brooks.

The treasurer’s report was read by Lloyd Carlson.

He reported a balance of $3016.15

A motion was made to accept the report.

It was seconded and approved.

It was announced we were looking for a donated toy to raffle at the show.

Nathan sent out donation letters and a list of upcoming events.

A vote was taken and it was agreed that there would be no toy displays

at the Farm & Fleet show.

Advertising possibilities were discussed for the Homestead show.

Gene introduced new member Ron Jacobson.

Overnight security for both shows was discussed: Dick McMeekan agreed

to stay at Farm & Fleet, and Joe Jensen and Nathan Brooks agreed

to stay at the Homestead.

Chuck Stone is currently checking on a location for a plow day.

Dick McMeekan volunteered wheat for Viola and oats for Alpha.

Gary Slager mentioned a need for a list of events on the club website.

Chuck Stone won the 50/50 drawing. He and the club both received $33.

Meeting Was Adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
