Minutes of the Edwards River Antique Engine Association for February 13^th 2007

The Meeting was held at the Viola town-hall.

It was called to order around 7:00 pm. by president Gene Brooks

            The minutes were read by John Wyant

            Dick McMeekan made notion to accept minutes.

            Vern Evans seconded.

There was no Treasurers report.

            Nathan Brookes reported sending out approx. 100 letters to possible donors.

            Gene said Bruce Curry sent us a bill for $452 dollars for toilets /parking and advertising for the 2006 fall show. Currently the bill is unpaid and no decision has been made on paying it at this time.

            We discussed 2007 events:

                        Homestead show                   May 19^th and 20^th

                        Tractor Drive                         June 9th

                        Farm & Fleet show                July 7^th and 8^th

                        Woodhull sesquicentennial   July 21^st and 22^nd

                        New Windsor Rodeo             August 16^th - 18^th

                        Fall show                                Sept. 22^nd and 23^rd  

                        Plow day                                November 3^rd

Dean Swartzkofts’ 1936 Oliver 70 will be the Featured tractor this year.

Bill McLaughlin s’ 4HP Fairbanks Morse will be the featured engine.

The Featured garden tractor has yet to be  decided.

It was decided to tell Chuck to go ahead and get pedal tractor a Oliver 70 from the Farm progress show. And also to buy the same advertising package a last year.

Dick said we will be binding and threshing oats this year.

John Wyant will work on a brochure.

John won the 50/50 raffle $26 for john and $26.00 for the club.

Deri Wilkins made a motion to adjourn.
