Minutes of the Edwards River Antique Engine Association for

January 9^th 2007

The Meeting was held at the Viola town-hall.

It was called to order around 7:05 pm. by president Gene Brooks

            The minutes were read by John Wyant

            Vern Evans made notion to accept minutes.

            Chuck Stone seconded.

The treasurer’s report was read by Lloyd Carlson.

Lloyd reported a balance of $4080.57

            George DePaola made a motion to accept the report

            Bill Schutte seconded

            We discussed 2007 events:

                        Homestead show                   May 5^th and 6^th

                        Farm & Fleet show                to be announced later

                        Woodhull sesquicentennial   July 21^st and 22^nd

                        Tractor Drive                         to be announced later

                        New Windsor Rodeo             August 16^th - 18^th

                        Fall show                                Sept. 22^nd and 23rd

                        Plow day                                to be announced later

            We discussed the new committees for 2007

                        Tractor coordinators:

                        Engine coordinators: Bill Mclaughlin, Mike Walsh

                        Garden tractor coordinator:

                        Event coverage:  John and Teresa Wyant

                        Button makers:  Del Benson, Gerry DePaola

                        Advertising: Don Stromquist

                        Vendor coordinator: George DePaola

            Gene is going to see about a food vendor for the Farm&Fleet show.

            Lloyd is ordering 20  2007 show directories.

            Gene said Bruce Curry wants us to help with his expenses for the fall show.

            There were discussions on this, nothing was decided yet.

It was decided not to make a book sized member list, John will make small lists up for whoever wants them.

Bill McLaughlin  won the 50/50 raffle. There was $32 dollars for Bill and $32.00 for the club.

Vern Evans made a motion to adjourn.
