Minutes of the Edwards River Antique Engine Association for

 March 10^th 2005

The Meeting was called to order at 8:05 pm by president Gene Brooks

The minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer’s report was read and approved.

Lloyd Carlson reported a balance of 2577.90 and that the 2005 show directories are in.

Chuck Stone reported that the land that we were going to use for our plow-day was no longer available.

Gene talked to Homestead and set the show-date for May 7^th.They are making placemats to advertise the show. He also talked to Farm & Fleet and that show-date is set for July 30^th & 31^st. He said the rear-lot would be available for parking trailers and that Farm & Fleet promised some advertising.

Gene got donations from several businesses.

There will be goodie-bags for exhibitors.

Gene ordered 50 hats and 48 T-shirts.

We discussed having farm toys at Homestead show.

We discussed having trophies at the shows.

The name of the Homestead show will be “Heritage at the Homestead”.

Gene is making Flyers for the Homestead & F&F shows.

We voted to raise our liability insurance coverage to 1 million dollars

Gene is making Pedal tractor tickets.

We discussed flea market charges.

Still checking on plow-day, its temporarily on hold.

It was decided to invite cars to all shows.

Marshall Reynolds Made a motion to adjourn, Dick Black seconded.
