 for May 26^th 2005

The Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm by president Gene Brooks

The minutes were read

The meeting was stopped to allow late arrivers to hear the minutes

The meeting was called to order again at 7:13

The minutes were read again.

The treasurer’s report was read by Gene Brooks.

Gene reported collecting $767 at the Homestead Show and that we

have a balance of $2493.21

Chuck Stone made a motion to accept these reports. The motion was

seconded and approved.

We discussed the Homestead show.

Gene said there were approximately 70 Tractors and engines at the show

We introduced some new members.

We discussed all of the upcoming shows.

Discussed Farm & Fleet Show

John making buttons for Farm & Fleet Show

John reported Smoky Joes is still on for the weekend.

 John will be in Charge of security at Farm & Fleet.

We will sell pop at main tent.

Talked about swap meet details.

Discussed Fall Show

Gene will talk to Bruce Curry

We need articles for a newsletter to go out before Farm & Fleet Show.

Tom Page talked with the Gala Club about joining our Club

Dick McMeekan made a motion to ask them about merger.

Bill Schutte seconded.  Motion carried.

Dick said we will need to bind oats the last of June.

We will have a potluck meeting at Bill Schutte’s then.

Nathan Brooks Made a motion to adjourn.
