Minutes of the Edwards River Antique Engine Association

 for August. 8th 2006

We met at the Viola community center.

The Meeting was called to order around 7:19 pm. by president Gene Brooks

            The minutes were read by John Wyant

            Joe Jenson made notion to accept minutes.

            Dean Swartzkoff seconded.

            Motion carried

The treasurer’s report was read by Lloyd Carlson.

Loyd reported a balance of     $ 2459.39

            Marshall made a motion to accept reports

            Deri Wilkens Seconded.

            Motion carried.

Gene passed around a copy of the cover for the fall advertiser.

A discussion was had on the Viola show.

Gene asked for a headcount of those planning on being in the New Windsor parade.

It was made known that Don stromquist will be having an auction after thanksgiving.

Gene said that he and Nathan have been talking with Bruce Curry and that everything is still a go for the fall show. We will be plowing the same spot as last year.

Don Wadams is security for the New Windsor Show.

Lloyd is taking care of ordering plaques @ approx. $2.00 a piece.

Next meeting will be held at Country Corners on the 12^th.

Chuck, Nathan, Joe and Todd are security at fall show.

Bill Schutte in charge of plowing.

Gene Benson won the 50/50 raffle. There was $300 dollars for Gene and $30.00 for the club.

John made a Motion to Adjourn.
