Minutes of the Edwards River Antique Engine Association for September 12th 2006

We met at Country Corners in Alpha.

The Meeting was called to order around 7:04 pm. by president Gene Brooks

            The minutes were read by John Wyant

            Dick made notion to accept minutes.

            Chuck Stone seconded.

            Motion carried

The treasurer’s report was read by Lloyd Carlson.

Loyd reported a balance of     $ 2650.97

            George made a motion to accept reports

            Marshall Seconded.

            Motion carried.

Bruce Curry addressed members. Then handed out brochures.

We then discussed final plans for the show:

Nathan and Gene are taking care of mowing and bailing.

Gene making a bunch of signs.

Tents

Trailer parking

Tables

Making custom buttons

Bruce is doing hayrack rides this year

Vendors coming

Corn huskers coming

There will be no corn to pick.

We then discussed Next years show will be held on Sept. 22^nd and 23^rd.

Minneapolis Moline and Oliver tractors will be featured.

Minni-mo Garden tractors.

Fairbanks-Morse Engines.

There will be no Farm & Fleet Show next year. We will be at the Woodhull Sesquicentennial.

Our fall banquet will be at the Homestead in Woodhull on Tues. November 14th.

Marshall made a motion to pay Gene brooks back for his expenses.

Dick Seconded.

Bill Mclaughlin  won the 50/50 raffle. There was $40 dollars for Bill and $40.00 for the club.

Gene made a Motion to Adjourn.
